Backups

We perform daily backups of every Lime Forms installation. Two layers of backup are maintained:

Full server snapshots — A complete snapshot of the server disk is taken daily. This captures the entire server state and can be used for full recovery in the event of a serious failure.

Per-application backups — In addition to the server snapshot, the Lime Forms application and its database are backed up separately each day. These backups are stored on a different server within the same hosting provider, keeping them isolated from the primary server.

Backups are retained for 60 days.

Data residency

If you have opted for Swedish-only hosting, your backups are also stored within the same Swedish provider. Your data never leaves that provider's infrastructure.
