Customizations

Lime Forms can be extended with solution-specific functionality built by a consultant. This page describes what kinds of customizations are possible.

Custom integrations

If none of the available integrations cover your needs, a consultant can build a custom integration that connects your form to any external system — for example an internal database, an ERP system, or a third-party API.

Examples of what a custom integration can do:

  • Look up data from an external system and populate a field in the form
  • Send submission data to an internal system when a form is submitted
  • Validate a value the end user has entered against an external data source

Custom components

A consultant can build custom interactive elements that can be placed inside a form. These behave like any other field but can contain fully custom logic and appearance.

Examples of what a custom component can do:

  • Display a product picker or configurator
  • Render a custom map or visualisation
  • Embed an interactive calculator or decision tool
