Custom domain support
By default, all Lime Forms applications are hosted on domain .lime-forms.com
.
However, it is possible to customize your application domain on request.
How to set up custom domain for your Lime Forms:
- Coordinate with your Lime consultant to obtain the server IP address.
- Set up DNS A record using instructions below
- Inform Lime consultant that DNS switch has been made
How to Set Up a DNS A Record
Before you proceed, it is important to understand that switching DNS records may result in application downtime.

Log in to your Domain Provider's Control Panel:
- Visit your domain provider's website and log in using your credentials.

Locate the DNS Settings:
- Find the section that allows you to manage your domain’s DNS records. This is often labeled "DNS Settings," "Zone File Settings," or "Manage DNS."

Add a New A Record:
- Look for the option to add a new DNS record or edit existing
A Record
- Select
A Record
from the list of record types. - In the Host/Name field, enter your domain (e.g.
example.com
). - In the Points to/Value field, enter the provided IP address obtained from Lime.
- Set the TTL (Time to Live) value to
60
- Look for the option to add a new DNS record or edit existing

Save Your Changes:
- Once you’ve filled in all the necessary information, save your changes. Depending on provider and previous TTL value, changes may take up to 24-48 hours to propagate worldwide, though in many cases, changes should be visible in few minutes.
- Validate DNS record propagation using whatsmydns.net
